Our Story

Ryese and Grace Long

We are Ryese and Grace Long, and we are incredibly grateful for the grace of God that has changed our lives and given us a passion for His mission. The Lord has used our journeys to draw us closer to Him and to give us a deep desire to see every person have the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel.

Over the years, God has continually broken our hearts for those who have never heard the name of Jesus. As we learned about the billions of people around the world with little to no access to the gospel, we became convinced that God's heart is for every tribe, tongue, and nation to know Him.

Ryese's Story

When I was 15 I heard the gospel for the first time. I had been anxious and depressed, and in a moment I felt real peace and joy. Soon after, I read the Great Commission and felt gripped by God's mission on the earth. Then I began to learn how many people have never heard about Jesus — and I was undone.

I had planned to go to ORU and had a large scholarship waiting. But one day someone said, "Why would you waste all that time and money when you already know God's call on your life?" I knew it was true. That day I called ORU and signed up for missions instead. God's mission has been burned on my heart ever since.

Grace story

I grew up reading books about missions and telling people I wanted to be a missionary. After high school the Lord called me to YWAM instead of college — it made the least sense on paper, but there was a peace I couldn't explain.

During DTS, in a moment of worship, I was honestly questioning whether God was real. In that moment He spoke to me: "I will reveal myself to you like a friend." From that moment it felt like the first time I was ever saved — and I gave my life fully to knowing Him and making Him known.

Together, what excites us most is seeing people encounter Jesus, grow as disciples, and be equipped to reach others. We are passionate about sharing the gospel, teaching God's Word, investing in discipleship, and helping raise up leaders who can reach their own communities and nations.

Our prayer is that through our lives, more people would come to know Jesus and that disciples would be multiplied among every tribe, tongue, and nation. We are honored to play a small part in God's mission, and grateful for those who partner with us.
